The idea is to have a look-a-like paper wasp nest hanging where you don't want wasp building or hanging around. It is said that wasp don't like building next to other's nest. As a result they find another location away from your decoy.
Before you reach for the wasp spray to kill them, you should know wasp not only do they help pollinate, but they also are natural predators of insects that are harmful to our gardens, such as aphids.
